all this meme fuckery is plunging tumblr into a meme collapse, memes last for smaller and smaller periods of time and more memes are made eventually causing meme hyperinflation, that and the continued decrease in quality of said memes will cause an evental collapse of the meme market

probably my favorite thing abt being a millennial is that i can lie on my resume abt shit like being proficient in excel bc i have the common sense to just google anything i dont know how to do which gives me a giant fucking edge over gen x in the job market bc somehow that strategy never occurs to employers and my underqualified ass looks like steve jobs every time i use a youtube tutorial to make a spreadsheet
legit if one more person comments some shit like “wait til your boss finds out and you get fired!!! im 42 and my only redeeming quality is that i know how to make a spreadsheet!! i hate millennials!!!” im gonna Lose My Whole Fucking Mind my boss already knows i google shit i dont know and literally hes just happy to have an employee that can get shit done that he doesnt have to pander to like an over-educated gen X “expert” that insists their skills are a market commodity but still can’t figure out how to put their fucking phone on silent in a movie theater bye
i actually love meme culture because it throws advertisers for such a loop they try so desperately appeal to the youth but the youth moves on to something like 2 weeks later and remembers the other thing as an embarrassing part of their past
